Ann Wilson described the pyramid as ritual architectural spaces: "Paul Thek, with his collaborative group, dreamt up a movable collage. In each of the cities where we exhibited, we created large-scale papier-mâché pyramids - ritual architectural spaces - out of the daily newspapers. These installation-architecture had a chronology of dates painted on them. Photographs of the work in progress were glued to these newspaper structures throughout the installation, marking the actual passage of time just like the weather report in the daily newspapers.” (Klein, 2003).
