The dining room was used as a studio and furnished with a working table and a piano. In this photograph Paul Thek and Franz Deckwitz work on a series of gouaches which were shown with other works in the galleries Stähli-Langenbacher und Wankmiller later on. Before coming to Lucerne Thek expressed a wish for an exhibition in a gallery in a letter to Ammann (Jan 18, 1973). The photographs is a proof that both painters worked on the gouaches parallely.
